Sergiu Celibidache homepage
This homepage is my modest hommage to my favourite composer Anton Bruckner and Bruckner's finest (mho) representative Sergiu Celibidache.
I share here items like concert programmes and reviews I have managed to find. Collection is building up little by little and I add items here regularly. I also try to search "Svenska Dagbladet" if I could find reviews of the Maestro during his period with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra (photo below). Then I list forthcoming concerts that include the works by Bruckner.
I also add here photographs of the organs, concert halls and some material related to my other favourite roumanian, Dinu Lipatti. This is to add more variety to this page, which is not even trying to be any huge source of information. There's plenty of fine and professional information sources elsewhere. I keep this as a dear hobby and hope that even one soul could find what I have found: Amazing music of Bruckner presented by his finest ambassador, Sergiu Celibidache.

I buy concert programmes / reviews etc.of Celibidache. Offers welcome ! I also search for Brucknerfest programmes from the earliest days to present, as well as old newspaper articles, postcards, portraits etc. of Bruckner. Suomenkieliset lukijat ! Celibidache vieraili Suomessa ainakin 60-luvulla ollessaan Ruotsin Radion Sinfoniaorkesterin johtajana. Mm. 1968 hän johti orkesteriaan Turun Musiikkijuhlilla ja levyillä on muutamia Helsingissä tallennettuja konsertteja (Helsingin Juhlaviikot 1969). Vuoden 1964 Sibelius-viikoilla hän myös johti konsertin, ja jos oikein ymmärsin RSO: n historiikista hän oli myös Juhlaviikkojen johtajana .
